Art Dog - China Rose

I made this little art doggie for a friend several years back.
At the time, i was making a lot of art dolls and wanted to try something different.
She is made from 4 flattened cans, an altoids tin, spools of thread,
keys, a piece from an old trophy (on the tail)
and a silk flower and leaves (tail and ears).
Her name is China Rose.

Stitch Lab

Tonight is my second intro to sewing class at Stitch Lab. We are making a round pillow with a zipper. I need to dig through my fabric stash to see if there is something i would like to use. My intentions are to create some funky pillows for the couch. The collage, by the way, is one of the custom pieces I created for the Stitch Lab website.
